- This
court handles a variety of legal matters relating to children and
families, as well as offenses involving youths between the ages of
eight and 16 that would be crimes if committed by an adult. Matters
handled in this court include proceedings that relate to family conflict
or violence, the determination of child or family support, child custody
or paternity.
- Jury
trials are not held in this court.
